About this concert
In this concert, Amicus explores
"Cross Over" music. Cross Over is a term used to describe a
performer or composer who bridges the gap between different genres of
music. An example is an opera singer who creates an album of jazz
standards. Amicus has always enjoyed crossing over to the Jazz realm. In
this concert we explore that in more depth. You'll hear classical works
and jazz works as originally created by their composers plus variations
and improvised creations that fall somewhere between pure classical and
jazz.
